Focus Friday: Love is the answer. I am heartbroken that violence and rage has become the action plan. I am angry and disgusted that as a black man with a black son that I must teach him that our governments(local,state,federal) and officials who are there to serve ALL people are serving their own agendas that perpetuate racism in our society. Wake up everyone the answer is not to argue points, create more enforcement mechanisms or respond with violence but to start with plans to get people in our governments who will hire the chief of police that will not turn blind eye to the poliferation of racism in our police departments. What is interesting is that our entire community pays when we don't address the true moral issues in our American culture. Fear will continue to grow for everyone as the vicious cycle that violence supports causes division. For example, an innocent black male dies at the hand of a white officer then a group decides to kill officers then the officers retaliate on behalf of their fallen... Wrong doesn't fix Wrong. Peace comes with love not violence. Today focus on Love because it leads to action which leads to real solutions. Most of all, have a true love for each other. Love covers many sins.1 Peter 4:8(NLV) Love is the answer.
