Make it happen Monday: True identity does not change based on circumstances or affinity. Getting what you want will not change your identity, so don't let what you have determine who you are, otherwise, you will always feel dissatisfied. Our circumstances and affinity change over time. At one time in my life, I was a kindergartner, but that does not define who I am today. At one time in my life, I worked in a fast food restaurant, but today I don't identify myself with fast food or being a cook or cashier at a restaurant. Where we work, groups we serve, our problems or our financial situation are not who we are. Today find your true identity in your being and finding your purpose--that is who you are when no one is looking. These words can set you free from the counterfeit identities you may have attached to. It's what's on your inside that defines your true identity not what's outside.
