We have Hope. This weekend I have been in pain from a dental procedure. I took pain pills and ibuprofen for relief for a couple of hours at a time. The pain was so intense that often all I could do is cry and grunt until pain subsided once the medication would kick in. As I prayed this weekend, I was comforted by the following: I think that the troubles we have in this life are nothing when we think of the great things that we shall have.(Romans 8:18) I know the pain is temporary and cannot be compared to what God is doing in my life. I thank God for my wife and family who provide comfort and concern throughout the pain. Today remember you have Hope even when you are in temporary pain or affliction-- trouble don't last always.
