Transformation Tuesday: 80/20! I was told growing up the harder I work the greater the success. If this is true then all hard workers would be having the easy life. I have learned that the equation is not balanced. Effort does not equal success. The 80/20(Pareto) rule argues that 20% of the input creates 80% of the output. There is truth to the 80/20 rule otherwise the person who makes $1000/hr would work 100 times harder than the person who makes $10/hr. In reality it is probably the person working for $10/hr who works harder. I will give you two hints to help you transform your life. First identify the 80% in your life, these are tasks that can be done by anyone washing the dishes, taking out the trash, cooking, cleaning, cut grass... Delegate these tasks to others and automate tasks using technology. This hint will free you to complete the remaining 20%. Secondly, make the 20% priority by doing it first. Today remember true transformation will be reality when you learn to delegate and automate, the put first things first. 80/20!
