Make it happen Monday: Last year my wife and I had the distinct opportunity to travel to Italy. During our visit to Florence, we admired the David, a sculpture by Michael Angelo. One of the observations about the sculpture was the detail down to veins in the arms and intense look in the eye of David at the moment before he slays Goliath. Could creating your character be like an artist creating a sculpture? I believe that character is not something that just happens by itself, any more than a chisel can create a work of art without the hand of an artist guiding it. In both cases, a conscious decision for a specific outcome has been made. Today make a conscious decision to work on the details of your character by developing the details of your life around values of honesty, humility, generosity, forgiveness and love. #pursueexcellence2016
