How can we move forward everyday in victory? What is victory to us? Is it how we should feel or is this how we should be? These questions often fill my mind throughout the day. I once read that we should give to live. My experience has been that the more I give the more fulfillment I receive out of life. Giving is natural.
You can go in victory everyday if you give your all to your life purpose.
Go Empty Today = Selfishness
When we choose to focus on what we can get out of life we become selfish in our decisions in life.
- During my teenage years, I worked at the fast food restaurant that sold chicken. We would work well into the morning not getting off until 2am on weekends. One night after we finished cleaning up and breaking down, I was on my way home. About 7 miles from home I was at a stop light and the truck turned off. My immediate reaction was to put the truck back into gear and turn the ignition. GRR..GRR..GRR.. What could it be? At that moment I remembered that on my way to work, the gas light came on. I was the only car at the stop light on the darkest part of the highway, I was tired and ready to get in my bed, I prayed to God and tried one more time … Crank, the Truck cranked but barely making it I had another 3 miles before the next gas station and two more lights. I made it to the gas station but as soon as I turned into the gas station the truck turned off and I coasted into the gas station. Can you afford to Go Empty Today?
